UncoveredChina is about a day that feels personal: a conversation over tea, a neighbourhood you would have walked past, or a meal that makes more sense once someone explains how to order it.

We arrange private experiences in Chengdu, Chongqing, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Start with food, architecture, everyday life, photography or a slower pace. We will discuss the route, who is available and what is practical before you confirm.

Our hosts bring different interests and perspectives. Read their profiles, tell us who or what draws your curiosity, and ask us to confirm the language and availability for your day. A private experience means your party has its own host; it does not mean an empty street or exclusive access to a public attraction.

A good experience starts with clear arrangements. Before you pay, confirm the date, party size, meeting point, inclusions, exclusions and final price. A website enquiry starts a conversation and does not confirm a booking or collect payment.
