This 5-day Sichuan tour brings together the region’s most iconic experiences in a comfortable private route. Your journey begins in Chengdu, where you ease into local life with tea, old streets, modern shopping areas, and Sichuan Opera. On the second day, you meet the city’s most famous residents — giant pandas — before diving into the ancient world of Sanxingdui and ending the day with a market-to-table Sichuan cooking experience. On Day 3, the route moves from the city to the mountains. You’ll walk through Qingcheng Mountain, learn about Taoist culture, visit the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, and spend the night near Qingcheng Mountain or Dujiangyan for a quieter local stay. On Day 4, slow down with a Taoist-style Tai Chi moment before continuing to Leshan. View the Giant Buddha by boat, explore local snacks, then travel to Mount Emei for the night. On Day 5, head to Leidongping and take the cableway toward the Golden Summit. If the weather is kind, you may see clouds, mountain light, and one of Sichuan’s most memorable sacred landscapes before returning to Chengdu for airport drop-off or the end of your journey.
